About The Position

MIRACORP, Inc. is seeking a proactive Office Manager to manage and coordinate office operations for the U.S. Department of Energy. This role supports DOE-ID and DOE-NE leadership by overseeing administrative workflows, managing procurement and vendor relationships, and ensuring the smooth functioning of office systems and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 5+ years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience OR Associate’s degree and 3 years OR Bachelor’s degree and 1 year
  • Knowledge of office management principles, budget monitoring, procurement, and vendor coordination
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DOE or other federal agencies
  • Familiarity with federal administrative procedures and reporting requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily office operations and support administrative staff (if applicable)
  • Oversee facility readiness, office equipment, and supply inventories
  • Develop and maintain office procedures to ensure efficient workflow
  • Manage records and information systems in accordance with DOE requirements
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on administrative matters
  • Manage office budgets, procurement activities, and vendor relationships
  • Track purchases, invoices, and contract-related documentation
  • Support adherence to DOE procurement and administrative requirements
  • Assist with HR-related tasks including onboarding coordination and personnel support
  • Support travel arrangements and related documentation
  • Provide administrative support for special projects and time-sensitive requests from DOE leadership
  • Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, charts, brochures, and reports
  • Draft, edit, and finalize talking points, correspondence, and written materials
  • Provide communications support including internal updates and stakeholder outreach
  • Perform clerical tasks, document formatting, reception duties, and meeting logistics
