Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Staff Officer to join our team. In this role, you will oversee, plan, organize, and conduct a variety of administrative and staff functions to support organizational goals. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S Citizen
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in administrative or staff officer roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to independently develop materials using these applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
  • Consistent attention to detail and ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience performing general staff officer duties, following established guidelines to produce desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information and synthesize functional needs.
  • Experience in research and information gathering.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community practices, missions, and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary action officer for assigned tasks.
  • Coordinate and track tasks to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Ensure leadership reviews and approves all task responses.
  • Prepare and release task responses ahead of deadlines.
  • Summarize incoming materials, gathered information, and meeting content for executives.
  • Coordinate new information with relevant office sources.
  • Draw attention to important issues and initiate follow-up actions as directed.
  • Provide support for Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
  • Assist with space planning and position management to achieve organizational goals.
  • Independently perform a wide range of functions requiring vision and leadership.
  • Develop, explain, and implement policies and procedures as needed.
