About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager/Staff Officer to provide high-level staff, operational, and administrative support to directorate leadership in a complex federal environment. This position supports senior leaders and government stakeholders through executive coordination, strategic communications, task management, and development of leadership-ready products. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities while producing accurate, polished work under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience providing staff, operational, or executive-level support within the Intelligence Community, DoD, or Federal Government.
  • Experience supporting senior or executive-level personnel in high-visibility environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and edit professional products for senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including experience working with metrics, processes, and organizational requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with government or enterprise systems such as DTS, MET, SharePoint, PeopleSoft, NCERTS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills with the ability to work independently, collaborate across organizational levels, and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level staff support, including calendar and travel management, meeting and event coordination, records, rosters, and other office requirements.
  • Develop and edit leadership-ready briefings, reports, presentations, staff packages, talking points, correspondence, read-aheads, and other communications products.
  • Manage taskers, actions, governance requirements, and special projects, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Analyze metrics, processes, and policies to support strategic planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Support strategic communications and engagement with Government stakeholders, mission partners, working groups, and the broader community.
