About The Position

We are seeking an Office Manager Energy, to join our team in our Oak Ridge, TN office. Your role Stops work without fear of reprisal for unsafe conditions potentially affecting personnel safety or environmental risk. Responsible for high level Office Management activities for facilities, official correspondence, and administrative support resources to the organization. This position is part of the project’s Senior Management Team and requires the ability engage with Executives and to hold certain information in confidence. Supervises administrative staff to ensure the project has the necessary administrative support. Manages the activities, professional development and performance of direct reports. Manages the office space at Isotek’s leased area at 545 Oak Ridge Turnpike. Provides support to the management team in all aspects of business administration, including staffing/personnel interfaces and organizational office support. Coordinates the onboarding process for all incoming Isotek personnel, including conducting the New Hire Orientation with new personnel. Coordinates Project-wide fundraisers, luncheons and other special events. Manages Isotek’s "Raise the Bar Program", including overseeing the item selection and managing the budget. Manages sub-budgets under the unallowable budget and the office supply budget. Interfaces with Department of Energy personnel to schedule executive meetings. Responsible for finalizing the Contract Change Proposals for the Business Manager. Processes the donation requests from Isotek personnel. Reviews and edits letters, plans and procedures and other documents. Manages specific vendors, such as office furniture and logo items. Participates in the hiring process for direct reports to ensure positions are staffed with personnel who possess the appropriate education and experience. Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions and the Isotek Safety Culture. Stops work without fear of reprisal for unsafe conditions potentially affecting personnel safety or environmental risk. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in high level administrative duties and/or customer service.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Visio.
  • Strong communication, verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent organizational ability.
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and with the customer.
  • Budget management experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Office Management or related field desired.
  • Experience working with an Engineering or Nuclear company, or Department of Energy, preferred.
