About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Pediatric office at the Galion location. The LPN will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients under the supervision of a physician or Allied Health Provider. This role involves patient and family teaching, advocating for patients, and coordinating clinical staff regarding patient flow and operations as directed by the physician. Avita Health System serves the communities of Crawford and Richland counties with three hospitals and multiple clinic locations, employing over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners.

Requirements

Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a pediatric office.

Responsibilities

Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA).
Participates in patient and family teaching.
Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
