About The Position

Quality Staffing, Inc. is looking for a dependable, professional, and motivated candidate to support a local office in Cherokee County. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of office work, customer service, data entry, and light outdoor field assignments. This position will work under direct supervision and assist with daily office operations while also supporting routine field duties that help ensure important public services are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, professional, and ready to jump in wherever needed. Work may take place in an open office or cubicle setting, as well as outdoors during routine field assignments.

Requirements

  • Some college coursework preferred
  • Must have reliable personal transportation
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Data entry experience preferred
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to assist in different areas as needed
  • Must demonstrate professional, courteous, and respectful customer service at all times
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, lift, pull, and reach overhead
  • Must be able to work outside during summer months as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner
  • Direct calls to the appropriate office personnel
  • Assist office staff with copying, scanning, filing, and other clerical duties
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain basic office records
  • Use basic computer programs and office equipment as needed
  • Assist with light-duty field work, including routine public swimming pool chemical checks
  • Test public swimming pools for proper chemical levels and safety requirements
  • Interact professionally with pool operators, pool patrons, customers, and internal staff
  • Complete inspections and assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Organize daily routes to complete field work efficiently
  • Run errands as needed using personal transportation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation
  • Follow all department and company policies, including conduct, dress code, and workplace expectations
