About The Position

As an Office Experience Specialist in BCG’s San Diego office, you’ll play a central role in delivering an exceptional, welcoming, and highly functional workplace environment. Part of a collaborative, service-oriented team, you'll independently manage daily office operations, proactively coordinate facility improvements, and deliver consistently high-quality support for internal meetings, events, and affiliation activities. You’ll act as a key liaison with vendors, facilities, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all office needs are addressed promptly and professionally, reflecting BCG’s high standards and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in office management, facilities operations, administrative support, or customer service, ideally within professional services, high growth startup or corporate environments
  • Proven experience managing office operations, vendor relationships, and coordination of facility services
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort quickly adapting to new technology platforms
  • Demonstrated track record in proactively solving operational issues, improving office processes, and ensuring excellent service delivery
  • Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving office supplies safely and comfortably
  • Availability to work periodic overtime as needed, with required in-office presence five days per week
  • Taking ownership of your work environment, maintaining high standards, and promptly addressing operational issues
  • Creating memorable first impressions and fostering a professional, welcoming environment for guests and employees alike

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the appearance and functionality of the office by monitoring shared spaces, kitchens, and conference rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, properly configured, and ready for use
  • Managing vendor relationships, coordinating repairs, routine maintenance, and facility enhancements, and promptly resolving issues
  • Overseeing office and kitchen supply inventory, handling orders, organization, accurate tracking, budget adherence, and maintaining item availability
  • Coordinating logistics for internal meetings and events, including catering arrangements, room setup, AV support, and post-event teardown
  • Serving as the primary contact for conference room management, ensuring rooms are equipped, reservable, and functioning smoothly; identifying opportunities for improvements
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff entering the office—greeting them with professionalism and care, and managing their experience from arrival to departure
  • Managing the front desk and concierge inbox, responding to questions, requests, and service needs in a timely and thorough manner
  • Leading mailroom operations, including timely processing, distribution, and coordination of inbound and outbound mail and packages
  • Supporting internal event logistics and affiliation initiatives, such as setup, signage creation, and event execution
  • Assisting with strategic office experience projects including space planning, digital signage content, internal communications, and special initiatives
  • Participating in strategic planning around office culture, consistently offering innovative ideas to enhance the office experience

Benefits

  • Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
  • In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a discretionary bonus of up to 12% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
