About The Position

GA Foods is seeking to hire a Office Coordinator/Back Up Driver for our Saint Petersburg location. The ideal Office Coordinator/Backup Driver candidate will have a strong administrative background, including conducting daily order entry and processing functions and other administrative functions. Will perform required recordkeeping and process information using established methods/procedures. Will be certified to drive Company trucks and may make deliveries or run routes as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Typing speed of 35–40 WPM with 10-key proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data entry systems
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments
  • Self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented environment
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must have ability to obtain DOT card

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support across kitchen, packing, and transportation departments
  • Coordinate and process daily meal counts, customer orders, and delivery data with a high level of accuracy
  • Enter, update, and maintain data in internal systems, including menus, orders, and shipment records
  • Prepare and distribute menus, labels, worksheets, and other operational documents
  • Serve as a liaison between customer service, transportation, and production to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
  • Support drivers with route-related or customer issues and assist with delivery confirmations and documentation
  • Monitor and resolve order discrepancies, including shortages, overages, and exceptions
  • Process warehouse shipments, picks, and end-of-day reporting activities
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies, including confidentiality standards
  • Assist with billing, reporting, and cross-functional team support as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
