About The Position

The Office Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, referral sources, and community partners within the Montrose office. This position provides exceptional customer service while supporting clinical operations through administrative and medical record functions. The Office Coordinator ensures efficient office operations by coordinating communication, maintaining documentation, supporting the interdisciplinary team, and facilitating timely patient care processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of administrative or operational support experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Adequate auto insurance maintained throughout employment
  • Knowledge of general office administration, customer service practices, and healthcare office operations, including confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to provide professional and compassionate service to patients, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and other office technology, with the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data entry, and administrative processes.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, solve routine problems, and work independently while recognizing when to escalate concerns.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships, adapt to changing priorities, and consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and HopeWest's mission and values.
