We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Office Coordinator to join our team in Aiken, SC. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting administrative functions, and maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an office assistant, receptionist, or similar role, preferably in the healthcare field.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are required.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Perform routine clerical tasks such as copying, filing, scanning, and faxing to support daily office functions.
  • Mail Management: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to appropriate team members.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and organize medical records in both electronic medical record (EMR) systems and physical charts in accordance with agency protocols.
  • Contractor Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process for new contractors, ensuring all documentation and procedures are completed accurately.
  • Scheduling Support: Enter schedules and new patient information into relevant systems as needed.
  • Confidentiality Compliance: Uphold HIPAA regulations to safeguard the privacy of patient, employee, and contractor information.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere to all agency policies and procedures to maintain a professional and compliant work environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of office operations.
