About The Position

The Office Clerk performs general office duties. This role is responsible for accurate and timely filing, retrieval, tracking, scanning, and maintenance of Cash Posting files. The clerk will sort, research, and note return mail in the system, and utilize computerized systems for scanning processes. They will administer proper guidelines to arrange high volumes of attorney letters, bankruptcy letters, correspondence, and other indexed documents according to specific guidelines. Additionally, the clerk will be responsible for gathering and indexing materials to be filed from departments and employees. The position requires adherence to Service Excellence Standards and Expectations, exhibiting excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers, and demonstrating courteous communication skills and an ability to work with others, exercising good judgment in performance of job duties. A commitment to flexible work schedules when necessary for patient care is also expected. The clerk will present themselves in a positive manner and attend required hospital-wide orientations, meetings, and in-services.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year clerical experience

Responsibilities
