About The Position

GovFirst is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part time Janitor / Office Cleaner Janitor to work on commercial office cleaning operations in Toms Brook, VA. The role involves cleaning and maintaining office buildings and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms, break rooms, and workspaces. Responsibilities also include performing floor care duties, emptying trash, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment according to established schedules and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial janitorial or office cleaning experience required.
• Experience with mopping, floor cleaning, and floor buffing required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain office buildings and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and workspaces.
• Perform floor care duties, including buffing and polishing floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
