About The Position

This is a professional OPS position located in the Division of Early Learning (DEL) in the Application Services unit. The incumbent in this position must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance, sometimes under stressful conditions. Applicants with early learning experience utilizing project management and organizational skills are preferred.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively including verbal and written communication.
  • Knowledge of the methods of reporting and data collection
  • Ability to review and monitor policies and procedures for compliance with applicable requirements
  • Ability to develop and organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, proposals and other written documents
  • Ability to utilize problem solving techniques

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, resolve technical difficulties, offer prompt client feedback, and assist with the rollout of new programs, hardware, and policies as directed.
  • Provide tier one (1) and tier two (2) technical assistance and support for new computer networks, software, and hardware-related questions and difficulties.
  • Using the IT ticketing system, respond to customers directly, over a call, virtually, or by e-mail.
  • Efficiently diagnose, analyze, and repair tier 1 and 2 technical hardware and software issues, as well as counsel and assist clients on the best course of action.
  • Give detailed information about IT services and refer unsolved concerns to the next level of support, as needed.
