About The Position

This position provides advanced office and administrative/management support tasks for the University of Wyoming Psychology Center (UWPC). The role involves assisting the Director and Associate Director, performing bookkeeping, managing client reception, handling IT and billing, and potentially assisting with marketing and website maintenance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years progressively responsible work-related experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist UW Psychology Center Director and Associate Director by investigating problems and providing resolution(s) as directed, attending UWPC meetings and providing input on office procedures.
  • Perform bookkeeping duties, organize data and perform office functions as required, including managing inventories and filing systems.
  • Serve as primary UWPC receptionist by answering phones, greeting and checking in clients, and managing emails.
  • May perform a variety of marketing, advertising, and special event projects and tasks.
  • Serve as primary IT contact and billing clerk (process and record payments), troubleshoot software problems, maintain client database and records.
  • Provide training regarding UWPC policies and procedures; may provide computer application(s) and software/ training.
  • Perform special projects, as directed.
  • May assist with maintaining the UPWC webpage, ordering supplies, and reviewing and editing documents.
  • Assist with revisions of forms and office procedures.
