About The Position

We are a well-funded deep tech company headquartered in Northern Virginia, with a satellite office in San Francisco and London, building a suite of autonomous software reliability and testing products. Our team is collaborative, highly technical, and customer focused. We prioritize the long-term in our structure, our products, and our relationships. As we scale, we are looking for an organized and proactive Office / Administrative Assistant to help keep our operations running smoothly. About the Role In this hybrid role, you will keep our San Francisco office running smoothly while gaining hands-on exposure to marketing activities. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day office needs and will also support our marketing efforts, especially around events, specifically, our meetups which we hold once a month in our office. As a growing startup with the San Francisco office being relatively new, there may be other tasks that may be assigned to you. If you like supporting and rolling up your sleeves to get things done, this may be a perfect fit for you. Marketing Exposure & Support (with Growth Path) This role is a great entry point if you’re excited to get hands-on experience at the intersection of marketing and operations. You’ll jump in wherever needed to help bring our office events and brand to life, while building the foundation to grow into a more specialized role over time. Growth & Trajectory We see this role as a launchpad. As you get up to speed, you’ll have the opportunity to lean into the areas that excite you most and take on more ownership.

Requirements

  • Recent college graduate or early-career candidate with interest in marketing and operations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; you’re the kind of person who likes checklists and follow-through.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (or similar tools) and willing to learn new tools quickly.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to build good working relationships across the team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset: you notice what needs to be done and take initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience helping run events (on campus, clubs, internships, etc.).
  • Coursework or projects related to marketing, communications, or business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming office environment, including stocking snacks and drinks.
  • Act as the main point of contact for vendors and building/facilities to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for team members and interview candidates when needed.
  • Help manage conference/Zoom room setups for meetings and interviews.
  • Support basic onboarding logistics for new employees (desk setup, welcome materials, office introductions, etc.).
  • Help plan and support monthly marketing and community events hosted in our office (meetups, small workshops, etc.).
  • Assist with event logistics: invitations, RSVPs, name tags, materials, and day-of coordination.
  • Capture light content from events (photos, notes, quotes) for potential use in blogs, social posts, or internal recaps.
  • Partner with marketing on brand presence in the office (signage, swag organization, event boards).
  • Support simple marketing operations tasks such as organizing contact lists, tracking event attendance, and preparing basic follow-up materials.
