About The Position
This posting includes multiple positions: Office Assistant 2, Paraeducator 1, and Crossing Guard. The Office Assistant 2 helps ensure the efficiency and organization of school and District departments by performing a wide range of specialized duties to support office operations. The Paraeducator 1 assists the Teacher in the delivery of an instructional program, through preparation of the classroom and materials, and through working with individual and small groups of students. The Paraeducator 1 also provides supervision of student activities in order to ensure that the school maintains a safe and orderly environment. The Crossing Guard supervises and safeguards students while crossing at a designated crosswalk to assure pedestrian safety and demonstrate proper safety procedures.
Requirements
- Probationary status for Office Assistant 2 and Paraeducator 1.
- Temporary status for Crossing Guard.
- 3 hours per day for Office Assistant 2.
- 3.5 hours per day for Paraeducator 1.
- .5 hours per day for Crossing Guard.
- 10 Month Calendar
- 182 Calendar Work Day
- 5 days per week
- Daily Work Schedule: 7:45am-3:15pm
