About The Position

RFA Engineering is seeking a highly organized and dependable candidate to become an integral part of our office team. The selected candidate will provide administrative support to our engineering staff and assist with the day-to-day operations of our office. This is a part-time position offering a flexible schedule and an opportunity to work in a professional engineering environment while supporting a variety of administrative and business functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous office administration, receptionist, or clerical experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, dependable, and service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or professional office environment.
  • Experience with scheduling, recruiting coordination, or human resources administration.
  • Experience with accounting or expense-reporting systems.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Ability to learn new software and administrative processes quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office and engineering staff.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and greet visitors in a professional manner.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office correspondence.
  • Maintain office files, records, and other administrative documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating office activities.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and monitor inventory levels.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, personnel paperwork, and other administrative processes as needed.
  • Prepare, format, and organize documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Assist with expense reports, invoices, purchase orders, and other routine administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate office events, lunches, meetings, and other company activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
  • Provide administrative support for recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate visits.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
