About The Position

Second Avenue is seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator to join their Central Operations Property Management division in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting day-to-day administrative operations. Second Avenue is the premier platform for enabling institutions to deploy meaningful capital into single-deeded residential assets (SFR) while retaining control and valuable lines of sight into their investments over time. Second Avenue’s proprietary technology and exclusive relationships have allowed it to bring scale to scattered single-family investment homes, a strategy that was previously untenable as an institutional asset class. The Company provides all aspects of sourcing, acquisition, and property management services for its clients. They offer a positive culture and professional work environment. The Office Administrator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Tampa office, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This role serves as a central point of coordination for office administration, employee experience, and internal support across departments. This position requires a highly organized, proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities, maintain a strong attention to detail, and contribute to a positive and professional workplace environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Experience in a corporate or professional office environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage all office administrative activities, including mail distribution, shipping/receiving, and supply inventory
  • Order and maintain office supplies, kitchen inventory, and equipment
  • Maintain conference rooms, common areas, and overall office organization
  • Coordinate office vendors, deliveries, and service requests
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and general office inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking of all common areas
  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for the Social Hub/breakroom
  • Ensure appliances and shared spaces are properly maintained and presentable
  • Proactively identify and address facility or maintenance needs
  • Support company culture initiatives, employee engagement activities, and office events
  • Assist with planning and execution of team events, holidays, and recognition programs (e.g., Employee of the Month)
  • Support internal communications related to office activities and engagement
  • Provide administrative support to leadership and various departments as needed
  • Assist with meeting coordination, scheduling, and preparation
  • Support basic reporting, data entry, and document organization
  • Assist teams such as but not limited to; Accounting, IT, or Operations during high-volume periods or staffing gaps
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying needs and acting without direction
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in communication and conduct
  • Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks based on business needs
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support the organization as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
