Overview Discount Plumbing is seeking a skilled & experienced Office Administrator to join our team! Discount Plumbing is Northern California contractor focused on providing significant value to our residential customers. We are always looking for people who are self-motivated and customer focused. We're on the lookout for a Office Administrator to help us keep our field techs' schedules running smoothly. The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented individual, with problem solving, multitasking skills, accountable team player, fast learner and MUST SPEAK SPANISH AND ENGLISH Responsibilities: Help with onboarding new employees Communicate effectively with field staff and clients regarding schedule changes and updates. Handle rescheduling and cancellations efficiently. Maintain accurate records of job assignments and staff locations. Provide administrative support as needed to ensure smooth operations. Respond patiently and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email. Skills that will help you thrive: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Problem-solving skills and a positive, upbeat attitude. Dependable (on time and consistent attendance) and able to work independently. Previous experience in dispatching or scheduling is preferred but not required. Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office Suite, Service Titan). The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). It assumes a rate based on location and experience. Physical Demands: Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time. May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
