Off Site Maintenance Technician
About The Position
RPM Development Group, a leading NJ developer of affordable housing, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to be an off-site superintendent for a residential building located in Aberdeen NJ. This role is responsible for maintaining the site in good working order and in accordance with all RPM policies. This includes the daily cleaning and maintenance of all exterior grounds, common interior areas, and parking garages or spaces. Responsibilities may involve the removal of debris, precipitation, and any obstructions that could present a hazard. The position also includes addressing work orders, managing the turnover of vacant units, being on-call for emergencies, and maintaining an adequate inventory of equipment, products, and supplies.
Requirements
- Previous superintendent experience.
- Experience with minor repairs; including electric, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
- Highly skilled in maintaining overall cleanliness of assigned property.
- Able to work efficiently without constant supervision.
- Able to operate industrial cleaning equipment and or snow removal equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Must live in a commutable distance to be able to respond to maintenance on-call and weather-related tasks within a reasonable period of time.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the site in good working order and in accordance with all RPM polices.
- Ensure all exterior grounds, common interior areas and parking garages or spaces are properly cleaned and or maintained daily.
- Proper removal of debris, precipitation (water, snow or ice), and any obstructions that may present a hazard.
- Address Work Orders
- Responsible for turnover of vacant units
- Responsible for On-Call emergencies
- Maintain adequate control of inventory of all equipment, products and supplies
