About The Position

Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 13 states with over 3,500 employees. Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual for our OFF ROAD HAUL TRUCK position at our quarry located in Springdale, Arkansas. The successful candidate must be motivated and have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence.

Requirements

  • An uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
  • Previous experience operating both articulated and rigid frame haul trucks preferred.
  • Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
  • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises and dust.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as production requires.
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen at any time.
  • Must be able to provide documentation to prove identity and eligibility for authorization to work in U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating both articulated and rigid frame haul trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate haul trucks to remove overburden and stripping material for quarry production.
  • Operate haul trucks to move shot rock from the mine faces to the crusher and begin the crushing process.
  • Perform daily pre-and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
  • Effective communication skills applicable to position.
  • Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
  • Willingness to be cross trained on other heavy equipment.
