About The Position
Mulberry Early Elementary School is seeking hard-working Illinois State University students with work study as part-time teaching assistants for preschool through kindergarten classes for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is off-campus and is specifically for students who have been awarded Federal Work Study money for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role involves assisting in preschool through kindergarten classes.
Requirements
- Applicants for this position MUST have been awarded Federal Work Study money for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Experience working with children in an organized setting is a must.
- Must be an Illinois State University student.
- Subject to a criminal background investigation and if applicable, an employment history review.
- Proof of eligibility for employment at Illinois State University to perform the required duties.
- File an I-9 in person and no later than three days from the beginning of employment.
- Have a valid Social Security Number registered with the University at the time of employment and/or as soon after as possible, but no later than 45 days from the start date.
