Odoo Developer (Python) – Remote
About The Position
Resemble Systems is a strategy-led transformation firm working with SMEs across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India. We design business systems and implement them using technologies like Odoo, automation, and AI. We are building a lean, high-quality Odoo capability — focused on solving real business problems, not just technical implementation. We are looking for a skilled Odoo Developer with strong Python expertise to support ongoing and upcoming ERP projects. This is a remote-first role, ideal for developers who prefer flexibility and project-based work. You will work closely with the Founder and functional consultants to deliver clean, scalable Odoo solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Python
- Hands-on experience with Odoo development (2+ years preferred)
- Good understanding of Odoo ORM and framework
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of XML, QWeb, and basic JavaScript
- Experience with Git version control
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Odoo Accounting / Inventory modules
- Experience with third-party integrations (payment gateways, APIs)
- Experience deploying Odoo on Linux servers
- Understanding of business workflows (ERP logic)
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Odoo modules
- Implement business logic using Odoo ORM
- Create and modify views (XML / QWeb)
- Integrate Odoo with external systems (APIs)
- Debug and fix issues in existing implementations
- Support deployment and production environments
- Work with functional consultants to translate requirements into solutions
