About The Position

As an Oracle Cloud Engineer, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us maintain cloud-based solutions for some of the nation's toughest problems. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment using current cloud capabilities. Using your technical experience , you’ll work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You’ll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems
  • 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies , security groups, and network security
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, including Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces
  • Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, or YAML
  • Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
  • Experience supporting advanced OCI solutions, and hardening government systems following STIG requirements
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing solutions to enable migration from AWS to OCI
  • Experience with OCI AI, ML, and LLM offerings
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of site reliability engineering concepts
  • OCI Certifications such as OCI Operations Associate or OCI Developer Certification
