The DevOps Engineer (IC3 level) is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, with a primary focus on the automated building, deployment, and operation of Fusion Apps, custom reports, and backend databases. This role bridges the gap between traditional DBA tasks and modern cloud DevOps, ensuring high availability, performance, and security through automation. The engineer will work on CI/CD pipelines to streamline application releases and database lifecycle management on OCI. Responsibilities

Fusion Apps Deployment & Automation: Build, deploy, and manage Oracle Fusion Applications and associated BI/reporting tools using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub).
OCI & Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage infrastructure components, including OCI compute, networking, storage, and Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE).
Database Administration (DBA): Perform DBA operational support for Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADB) and traditional databases, including cloning, patching, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
Automation & DevOps: Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Ansible to streamline deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) provisioning.
Production Support: Act as an on-call escalation point for monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis, ensuring 24x7 service availability.
