About The Position
As an Oracle Cloud Engineer, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of the nation's toughest problems. You’ll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You’ll work with your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience using software with a cloud-first development approach
- 5+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, including on-premise or hybrid solutions
- 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata Database, security policies, security groups, and network security
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or OCI Resource Manager
- Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Experience developing and maintaining advanced OCI solutions
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in a technical role in lieu of a degree
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
- Experience with system migration from AWS to OCI
- Experience with OCI AI, ML and LLM offerings
- Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
- OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certifications
- IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certifications
