About The Position

The Ocean Freight Exports Specialist manages sea and air freight export operations from Americas manufacturing plants to global destinations. The role coordinates shipment allocations, prepares export and customs documentation, maintains reporting, and tracks shipments end to end. It also oversees third-party logistics providers, monitors supplier performance, supports contract administration, and manages transportation-related financials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Business Management, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in ocean freight, exports, and/or logistics operations.
• 0–2 years of experience supporting or managing projects and/or process improvement initiatives.
• Less than 1 year of leadership experience.
• Exposure to Power BI and SAP.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental can offer visa support to internal candidates or individuals who already hold valid employment visas.
