About The Position
The Outpatient Mental Health Team provides therapeutic services to adults, children/families experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, and co-occurring substance use. This internship placement offers practical training in community-based behavioral health, with weekly clinical supervision provided by a licensed mental health professional.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement OT interventions focused on life skills, social skills, and daily functioning.
- Conduct assessments related to occupational performance and participation.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to integrate OT perspectives into individualized care plans.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups targeting occupational engagement and community integration.
