About The Position
Paradigm HealthCare Services at Paradigm at Woodwind Lakes is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their in-house rehabilitation team in Houston, TX. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct patient care, implement treatment plans, support resident progress, document care, and contribute to the rehabilitation programs.
Requirements
- Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and boards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Net Health a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities.
- Provide skilled OT services in alignment with physician orders and OT supervision.
- Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers.
- Document treatments, resident responses, and changes in condition.
- Follow established care plans and participate in treatment planning.
- Attend required meetings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards.
