About The Position

Concierge Home Care is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled therapy services in patients’ homes. This role offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through one-on-one care. The COTA will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities safely. The company utilizes modern technology, including AI-assisted charting tools and the WellSky/Kinnser EMR, to streamline documentation and enhance efficiency. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
  • Active, unencumbered Florida COTA license
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • Home health experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist
  • Assist patients with improving activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and safety strategies
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Document visits efficiently using AI-assisted EMR tools
