About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) with a flexible schedule to join their team and care for a diverse patient population. This role involves caring for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Requirements
- Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) is responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system.
- The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
