About The Position

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients. The role focuses on helping patients improve independence, mobility, safety, and quality of life through personalized, patient-centered care and functional outcomes. The assistant works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in a collaborative clinical environment that emphasizes quality outcomes, consistency of care, clinical autonomy, and supportive professional development.

Requirements

Be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or license eligible in the state of practice.
Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Have a passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to improve patients’ functional independence, safety, and quality of life.
Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, mobility, and adaptive techniques.
Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs.
