Requirements

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure or registration
• Strong understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to patient homes
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to care

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with pediatric populations preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in delivering therapy services to pediatric patients in their homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans to promote developmental, sensory, and motor skills
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting findings to supervising therapists
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic activities and strategies to support ongoing development
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment during therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided in compliance with agency policies and regulations
