About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will help patients improve independence in daily activities, support treatment plans, document progress, and contribute to a safe, compliant clinical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed OTA who is patient-focused, organized, and committed to compassionate care.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program approved by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
  • Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Texas.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, patients, and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy treatment and related services based on the Occupational Therapist’s evaluation and established plan of care.
  • Help patients improve independence with daily living skills through instruction, observation, and adaptive strategies.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and promptly communicate significant findings or needed plan changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, home exercise instruction, and other required records.
  • Support clinic readiness by assisting with routine cleaning, equipment care, and supply organization.
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, HIPAA requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned within the scope of training and applicable law.
