About The Position

FeldCare Connects is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver quality home healthcare to patients of all ages. This position is for an Independent Contractor to serve Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. As an independent contractor, you are your own boss and can control your own schedule and work in your preferred coverage areas. FeldCare Connects provides administrative support including assigning, communication, scheduling, care coordination, and quality assurance. Clinicians observe, record, and report the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition, and determine the plan of care. Documentation is made easy through an intuitive Electronic Medical Record system.

Requirements

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license issued by the state board of Occupational Therapy.
• The required license MUST be current, active, and unrestricted; a conditional, provisional, or restricted license will NOT be accepted. Limited permits will not be accepted.
• Completion of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality home healthcare to patients of all ages.
• Observe, record, and report the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Determine the plan of care.
• Complete documentation using the Electronic Medical Record system.
