About The Position

Powerback is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Terrace Post Acute in Van Nuys. The role implements occupational therapy programs and activities, follows established recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. The assistant provides individualized, patient-centered care in a caring and compassionate environment, adapts to patients’ needs, collaborates with peers, and makes referrals to support patients’ care. The posted salary range is USD $45.00–$48.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA and ACOTE standards.
• Obtain initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence.
• Provide individualized, patient-centered care and ensure patients and families receive high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals when needed to help patients receive appropriate care.
