The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will support the delivery of high-quality Occupational Therapy (OT) services to help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life. This role involves providing therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will implement treatment plans, provide direct patient care, monitor and document resident progress, educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Accurate and timely documentation in the EMR, participation in care planning and discharge planning, and ensuring compliance with all regulations are key responsibilities.
