About The Position
Kace Premier Medical Talent is recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant for a permanent placement opportunity in Alameda, California. Support patients in improving daily function and independence under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Current California OTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care under OT supervision.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment interventions within the Occupational Therapist’s established plan of care.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, therapeutic exercises, and adaptive strategies.
- Observe patient responses and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Reinforce patient and caregiver education.
- Complete accurate treatment documentation and collaborate with the rehabilitation team.
- Follow applicable supervision requirements and professional scope of practice.
