Interim HealthCare is seeking a passionate Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join their team in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and surrounding areas. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTA) in the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of two (2) years of certified occupational therapy assistant experience, ideally in home healthcare.
- CPR/BLS Certification (demonstration course required).
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
- Excellent clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, resourceful and compassionate.
Responsibilities
- Perform under the direction and supervision of the treating occupational therapist and in accordance with the plan of care.
- Assist the treating occupational therapist in documenting a patient's progress and response to treatment.
- Teach task-oriented therapeutic activities designed to restore physical and sensory-integrative function.
- Communicate with the supervising occupational therapist, as well as other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team providing care to the patient in order to promote coordination of care.
- Visually and aurally observe and assess the patient.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement measures.
