About The Position

Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking a talented, creative, and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with patients, empower them to regain independence, and help them live their best lives. The position is based in Washington and serves nine Western Pennsylvania counties.

Confident in both independent work and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
Possesses a Degree in Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
Current PA Occupational Therapist Assistant license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and assess individual patient needs, creating personalized treatment plans to inspire functional independence.
Utilize evidence-based methods and therapeutic tools to improve motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physical therapists, speech therapists, doctors, nursing staff) to provide comprehensive care.
Educate and empower patients and their families, providing them with the knowledge and techniques to continue improving at home.
Monitor patient progress, documenting outcomes and adjusting therapy plans for optimal recovery.
