The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides rehabilitative services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR), assisting patients in achieving functional goals related to daily living and mobility. This role supports treatment planning by implementing prescribed therapeutic interventions, observing and reporting patient progress, and contributing to the continuity of care in alignment with individualized care plans and regulatory standards. The position is located at a 34-Bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, a specialized, all-private-room unit dedicated to helping patients regain physical and cognitive abilities after disabilities caused by illness or injury. The facility features a modern gym equipped with a 20-foot ceiling track system for gait and balance training, plus interactive touch-screen technology for advanced neurological and cognitive recovery.
