About The Position
Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking a passionate and empathetic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their growing team. This is a Home Health Agency that focuses on patient needs and creating a positive, empowering environment. The COTA will serve patients in Monroeville and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Graduate of an occupational therapy assistant curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Certified as an occupational therapy assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits.
- Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a car with insurance limits as established in personnel policies.
Responsibilities
- Makes home visits to patients in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
- Implements the therapy program established by the OTR/L providing services to prevent disability, relieve pain, restoring function and independence to achieve the patient’s full potential following disease or injury.
- Assists in teaching patients and in planning discharge from occupational therapy services.
- Witness firsthand the impact of your care on patients' health and well-being.
- Form lasting connections with patients and their families as you guide them on their health journey.
