About The Position

Wee Care offers Therapy Services and Home and Community-Based Services using evidence-based treatment models to help your loved one achieve and maintain the highest level of independence. Wee Care has been serving families in our community and surrounding communities since April 2006. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) contractor, you will deliver in-home occupational therapy services to children and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) under the supervision of a licensed OTR/L. This role exists to help clients build functional skills and greater independence through consistent, evidence-based support.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona COTA licensure
• Experience supporting individuals with IDD
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Compassionate, patient-centered care style
• Ability to work independently with OTR supervision
• Comfort providing therapy in home settings
• Reliable transportation
• Strong time-management

Responsibilities

• Implementing OTR-directed treatment plans
• Documenting session notes clearly and on time
• Communicating progress and concerns with the supervising OTR/L and caregivers
• Maintaining a safe, respectful home-based care approach
• Confirming session locations
• Traveling to clients’ homes
• Keeping time organized to meet a minimum of 10 sessions per week
• Staying responsive to messages
• Finalizing documentation
• Coordinating with your supervising OTR/L so plans remain aligned
