How you’ll make an impact in this role Support patient recovery by implementing personalized treatment plans and using specialized therapeutic techniques to help individuals regain daily living skills. Monitor and evaluate patient progress in real-time, collaborating closely with occupational therapists to adapt goals and ensure the most effective care path. Empower patients and their families through clear education on physical limitations and the proper use of adaptive equipment for a safe transition home. Create seamless care transitions by documenting detailed patient progress and providing essential insights for discharge planning and community support.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (COTA) credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
