About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) position. The role involves providing direct patient care and implementing treatment programs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The position requires flexibility to work in various facilities within the PAM Health system, which serves chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care. PAM Health operates over 80 hospital locations nationwide.

Requirements

• Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, responsible for direct patient care.
• Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system.
• Must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
