About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) with a flexible schedule to join their team and care for a diverse patient population. The role involves providing direct patient care, planning, and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist within the PAM Health system. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire to learn. PAM Health specializes in caring for chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care, with over 80 hospital locations and more than 11,000 employees nationwide, focusing on compassionate care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system.
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
