About The Position

Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing home health team. In this rewarding role, you'll work alongside Occupational Therapists to help patients regain independence, improve their quality of life, and safely remain in the comfort of their own homes.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program with a current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.
Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with the established plan of care.
Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and regain functional independence.
Implement therapeutic exercises and activities designed to enhance strength, coordination, balance, and mobility.
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home safety recommendations.
Observe, document, and report patient progress and communicate any changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
