About The Position
The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) will join our team and care for our diverse patient population. This role is ideal for candidates with prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire and commitment to learn. Requirements
- Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) is responsible for direct patient care.
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy within the PAM Health system.
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
