About The Position
This is a 13-week assignment for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) position. The role involves direct patient care, planning, and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The position requires flexibility to meet the needs of the system within various facilities. PAM Health serves chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care across over 80 locations nationwide.
Requirements
- Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
- Current BLS certification required
- One year of clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care
- Planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
