About The Position
Human Touch Home Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team serving Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Massaponax, Locust Grove, and surrounding communities. This is a PRN opportunity offering flexibility, professional independence, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients. The role focuses on helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life by assisting them with activities of daily living and adaptive techniques, ultimately enabling them to return to their daily routines with confidence.
Requirements
- Active Virginia Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License Required
- Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
- Strong Communication and Documentation Skills

- Home Health Experience Preferred but Not Required
- Passion for Delivering Exceptional Patient Care
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve function and independence
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and adaptive techniques
- Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and therapeutic activities
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
